Vietnam Veterans of America Chapter 20 - Rochester, New York

The Vietnam Veterans of America Chapter 20 of Rochester, New York is the largest, most active, and longest standing local chapters of the national Vietnam Veterans of America, Inc., a not-for-profit veterans service organization chartered by the United States Congress.

Our central focus is on maintaining a strong, united voice for resolving issues of vital importance to all Vietnam-era veterans -- locally, statewide, and nationally. We also provide a positive local forum for social and emotional interaction among Chapter 20 members.

Nearly 27,000 veterans in the six-county, greater-Rochester area qualify for membership in Chapter 20. Find out if you do too!

The purpose of the review was to evaluate selected health care facility operations, focusing on patient care quality and the environment of care, and to provide crime awareness briefings. We conducted the review the week of November 2, 2015.

Review Results:

The review covered seven activities. We made no recommendations in the following three activities:

  • Coordination of Care

  • Suicide Prevention Program

The facility's reported accomplishments were establishing the Homeless Veterans Primary Care Clinic and implementing the new clinical modalities of robotic surgery and cochlear implants.
